Tutoring: I suggest to try several tutors to see who works for you, below are two sources.
Math Learning Centre. (MLC for short) A space for undergraduate students to study math together, with friendly support from tutors, who are graduate and undergraduate students in the math department. The MLC is located at LSK301 and LSK302. Every undergraduate student studying Math is welcome there! In the MLC, students may join the study groups if students wish to. Please note that while students are encouraged to seek help with homework, the MLC is not a place to check answers or receive solutions, rather, the aim is to aid students in becoming better learners and to develop critical thinking in a mathematical setting. For additional information please visit the website.
AMS Free Tutoring. Your Student Society offers free tutoring services. I recommend to first try the MLC, since that is specialized for math.
Piazza: An online forum for the class. I encourage you to ask questions here, and to check here for answers to questions you may have, which will often be written by other students. To register, check the main course webpage.
Extra problems: You learn math by doing problems. The CLP problem book is mostly taken from past exams and quizzes for this class. Can you solve them
Mobile textbook, including the extra problems: Here, why not study and try some problems on the bus using your mobile?
Friends: To make a study group you can meet in class, or at the MLC, or through Piazza. Just make sure you think about the problems yourself before discussing them together.
Office hours: Come to my office hours and I will try to help you learn. I particularly like questions of the form, “Can you help me understand this concept “
Math department website:here. In particular, you can find old exams here.
